He perfomed sustaining many elastic virtually all notably Allies before launching his solo career.

He is better known for his hit song, Butterfly Kisses - the special for father-daughter dances at weddings. This song which appeared in his third solo album, originally titled Shades of Grace a album wwhen latter re-discharged as Butterfly Kisses (Shades of Grace) because of the profits of the individual. He co-wrote this song by having previous Allies partner Randy Thomas and for this they together won a 1997 Grammy Award for Best Country Song. Butterfly Kisses has too won the Dove Award for Song of the Year.
